On the left Clay Regazzoni's Ensign N177 Ford is mounted by Vittorio Brambilla's Surtees TS19 Ford, which was involved in a collision with Jochen Mass's McLaren, all resulting from the fracas caused by Reutemann's lock-up just prior to this in the same corner.

Vittorio Brambilla (March 751 Ford) celebrates his 1st position and maiden Grand Prix win. The front of his car is damaged because after seeing the chequered flag he raised his arms in jubilation, whereby he crashed into the barriers, but was still able to continue driving.
