Juan Manuel Fangio (in Peter Collins' Lancia-Ferrari D50 801), 2nd position, clinching the World Championship for the fourth time. Collins handed his car over to Fangio after the latter had retired, thus giving Fangio the title.

Juan Manuel Fangio (Lancia-Ferrari D50) leads Stirling Moss (Maserati 250F) and Peter Collins (Lancia-Ferrari D50). Fangio later took over Collins' car to clinch his fourth World Championship after his developed technical problems. Moss finished in 1st position.
