The front part of the Ensign N176 of Jacky Ickx (BEL) burns intensely by the guardrail as the body of the car sits in the middle of the circuit after it crashed heavily on lap 15 and caught fire. Ickx escaped relatively lightly with a broken ankle and minor burns.
