A serious accident at Crowthorne involving the Surtees TS14A of Mike Hailwood (GBR) (Left) and the BRM P160D of Clay Regazzoni (SUI) (Right), left Regazzoni with minor burns having been trapped unconscious in the blazing car and Hailwood being later awarded the George Medal for his bravery in extricating the hapless Regazzoni.
