The damaged fence and SAFER wall from the Ryan Briscoe (AUS) accident in the Peak Antifreeze Indy 300. Briscoe crashed with Alex Barron (USA), Red Bull Cheever Racing, got airborne and flew into the fence which destroyed his car. Briscoe was hospitalized but not seriously injured.

The race is red flagged due to an accident involving Alex Barron (USA), Red Bull Racing; Kosuke Matsuura (JPN), Super Aguri Fernandez Racing, and Ryan Briscoe (AUS), Target Ganassi Racing, in the Peak Antifreeze Indy 300. Briscoe was airlifted to hospital.
