Jimmie Johnson speeds to the kink during the opening practice session in the #99 Gainsco Daytona Prototype (DP) where he would suffer contact with a slower GT car and crash hard into the barrier. A early favorite, the #99 has been withdrawn and replacement car last raced in 2008 is going to be shipped from Texas to become a new entry, the #98.
