On the left Clay Regazzoni's Ensign N177 Ford is mounted by Vittorio Brambilla's Surtees TS19 Ford, which was involved in a collision with Jochen Mass's McLaren, all resulting from the fracas caused by Reutemann's lock-up just prior to this in the same corner.
