Achille Varzi leads Jean-Pierre Wimille (both Alfa Romeo 158), Raymond Sommer (Maserati 4CM), Count Carlo Trossi (Alfa Romeo 158) and Louis Chiron (Lago-Talbot T26C) at the start. Wimille and Varzi finished in 1st and 2nd positions respectively.
